Supporting Our Future Leaders

For over 25 years, Sisters United in Human Service, Inc. has awarded more than $12,000 in scholarships to deserving Muslim students, empowering them to pursue higher education and honor the Islamic tradition of lifelong learning. The Ummah Investment Scholarship recognizes academic excellence, leadership, and community service, providing financial support to help students achieve their educational goals and make a lasting impact.

The Award

Sisters United in Human Service, Inc. provides scholarships to support students in their educational pursuits. All funds are disbursed directly to the student.

Scholarship Recipients Announced: May 2025

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be a college-bound high school senior or current college student.
Be enrolled or accepted into a two- or four-year accredited institution.
Utilize any awarded scholarship funds by January 31, 2026.

Selection Process

Recipients are chosen based on:
Academic achievements
Extracurricular & community involvement
Essay recommendations
Overall merit

Checklist for Submission

Completed Application Form
Official high school transcript (grades 9–11, GPA included)
SAT/PSAT/ACT transcript (from high school guidance office)
Four typed essay recommendations
Acceptance letter or proof of enrollment

No resumes, attachments, or additional materials will be accepted.
Ensure all sections are complete to avoid disqualification.
